Backyard Wedding in Hideaway Hills
Abby & Josh are some of the sweetest people you could meet. They’re both school teachers and both strive to know and love Jesus more daily. Their unexpected backyard wedding in Hideaway Hills, Ohio turned out to be a fairytale wedding.
During their ceremony the pastor carved time for both sides of the family to come up and pray over them. It was so beautiful to have this time of love and prayer during one of the biggest decisions of their lives. Their ceremony overlooked the private access to a riverbank and having the river in the background cloaked by trees was stunning.
The family prepared the food and served it plated to every guest. The dining room was made by her father and was finished within weeks of the ceremony. It is full of large, bright windows and was the perfect size for their guest list. They decorated the room and it truly felt like a real reception hall.
One of the most iconic moments from their wedding day was when Abby allowed Josh to push her on the family swing that stretched out over the river. Her dress flowed along elegantly and it was super romantic. Another memorable moment was when they invited their two sets of parents to join them during the first dance and all dance together. The deck where they danced overlooked the forest and the riverbank.
