Boho Wildflower Wedding in Westerville, Ohio

Tonya & Marty opted to have a boho wildflower wedding and it was such a beautiful show of their personalities. The historic venue Everal Barn & Homestead was the perfect backdrop for their wedding day. They made the decorations themselves and one of our favorites was the macramé dream catcher centerpiece that Tonya made for their head table. Check out Tonya’s handmade brooch bouquet. The bridesmaids carried tambourines with multicolor ribbons that matched their rainbow of dresses.

Their daughter (Tonya’s step-daughter as of their wedding day) Roslyn was the life of the party and she loved every moment as much as her parents. She cried when they cried, and laughed when they laughed. It was so beautiful.

They tied the knot in a traditional hand-fasting ceremony. An acoustic rendition of The Darkness’ “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” brought them in and out.

Tonya & Marty actually eloped in 2020 and got married in Vegas (by an Elvis Impersonator, obviously), so during part of their big celebration after the formal hand-fasting ceremony, their parents brought out Elvis glasses for everyone to dance with.

Something that stood out to us was how much Tonya & Marty look out for each other and can feel each other’s needs. There were multiple times during the day where they checked in and made sure all needs were met. They were both great at caring for each other and their friends and guests. They are so genuine in all they do.

The table decorations enhanced the boho wildflower wedding vibe and the centerpieces featured bottles of various colors, shapes and sizes. They each had a few wildflower stems as accents too. It was simple yet gorgeous and stunning. The wildflower-covered cake was one of the most beautiful cakes we’ve ever seen! Their desserts included treats that were as beautiful as they were delicious, including pizzelles.

They danced together and with daughter Roslyn with a perfect sunset backdrop peaking over the barn & homestead to end their gorgeous and love-filled evening.
