How they met

Miniacis & Jeffrey met online while attending college in Columbus, Ohio. They quickly fell in love. When they started dating they both felt like they’d found their person from the start. They even survived 4 years of long distance dating while Jeffrey obtained another degree out of state.

The Proposal

Jeffrey proposed to Mina during a lovely trip to South River Winery and they had a romantic time. They both were excited to have family nearby to celebrate their engagement with. To them, God and family are everything and Jeffrey made sure both were present during their engagement celebration.

The Cutest Engagement Photos

When Minia reached out to us about capturing her wedding, she didn’t even have engagement photos on her radar because they’d had professional photos taken during their proposal. She chose us because she noticed how particular we are when editing different skin colors and tones. We value making every single client feel radiant in their own skin, and she noticed.

Mina came to us with her dream of classy and old Hollywood stylistic ideas and we knew her session would be a dream. She ended up with the cutest engagement photos from her Columbus Museum of Art and Butcher & Rose restaurant engagement session. Specifically, she wanted to make sure her session was romantic, playful, artistic, and uniquely their own.

We started off at the art museum and captured authentic and luxurious moments between Mina & Jeffrey. They danced in the hallways, they ran around corners and they waltzed in the grand entryway. Every so often they paused to enjoy the artwork and feel the depth of their romance.

After we left the art museum we headed to Butcher & Rose for portraits and dessert. Being a mixture of modern and chic luxury, it was the perfect vibe for their session. With strobe flash in hand, we captured beautiful and dramatic portraits at this location.

With walls of dark wood, columns of roses, and the antique green booths, this Cameron Mitchell restaurant drips with style. It was a glamorous way to end the session.
